Travel Classes
Emirates provides four different classes of service for its passengers:
- Economy Class: Passengers enjoy comfortable seating, access to Wi-Fi, a wide range of TV channels, and delicious meals during their flight.
- Premium Economy Class: Located at the front of the aircraft, this class offers spacious leather seats, cushioned leg rests, and adjustable headrests. Passengers can enjoy personalized services, including special regional meals, Bluetooth-enabled HD TVs, and enhanced Wi-Fi. They also have priority boarding and deplaning.
- Business Class: Business class travelers can relax in seats that convert into fully flat beds with soft mattresses and blankets. They have access to exclusive lounges, inflight entertainment, and chauffeur-driven services upon arrival at their destination.
- First Class: First-class passengers enjoy private suites with sliding doors that offer ultimate privacy. Their seats convert into fully flat beds with luxury bedding, and they are served gourmet à la carte meals with personal dining service. Additional perks include an onboard shower spa, lounge access, and high-end inflight entertainment.
Check-In Process
Emirates allows passengers to check in online up to 48 hours before their flight. During online check-in, passengers can select their seats, meals, and even take advantage of last-minute upgrade offers.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Emirates provides full refunds as long as the fare conditions allow. Even if a flight hasn’t been canceled, passengers can still request a refund.
To cancel a flight:
- Go to the “Manage Your Booking” page on the Emirates website
- Enter your booking reference and last name.
- Retrieve your booking and choose to cancel the flight.
For a refund:
- Go to the “Request a Refund” page.
- Review the refund terms.
- Enter your booking and personal details.
- Select the type of refund you want.
- Specify your payment method.
- Submit the request.
If your ticket was booked through a travel agent and it’s been more than 24 months, use the refund form. For tickets booked within the past 24 months, contact your agent directly for assistance.
Additionally, Emirates offers a flexible option allowing passengers to keep their ticket for use on a future flight within 24 months, with no additional fees for changes to the flight or destination.
Baggage Allowance
Baggage policies depend on the route, fare, and class of travel. Emirates uses two types of baggage allowance systems: weight-based and piece-based.
- Weight-based: This is for most routes, allowing you to check as many bags as needed, as long as the total weight stays within the limit for your class. Economy passengers can check in 20-35 kg, Business passengers get 40 kg, and First Class allows up to 50 kg.
- Piece-based: This applies to flights to and from the Americas and Africa. Economy class is allowed one 23 kg bag, while Business and First Class passengers can check one bag of 32 kg each.

Special Assistance
