History
Founded in 1933 with just five aircraft, Turkish Airlines has grown exponentially over the years. In 2013, the airline made a landmark decision by purchasing a large number of aircraft, marking a significant milestone in its history. Additionally, Turkish Airlines established maintenance and repair facilities at Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, creating a comprehensive aviation ecosystem that has influenced the sector significantly. Alliance
Star Alliance, established in May 1997, is one of the largest global airline alliances in the world. With 27 member airlines, the alliance carries over 670 million passengers annually. The Flying Returns program allows passengers to accumulate and redeem miles across all airlines within the Star Alliance network. Turkish Airlines offers two primary classes of travel:
